On May 7, 2024, the Webinar entitled “RECs and the fight against energy poverty: strengthening skills and financial support schemes” was held, organized by the Rome pilot within the Sun4All project activities (https://sunforall.eu/it), developed by CITERA Sapienza in partnership with Roma Capitale, and in synergy with the SUN4U project coordinated by Federesco.
In line with the European Green Deal and the Clean Energy for All Europeans package, Sun4All aims to achieve a socially just energy transition in Europe by making renewable energy accessible to people in energy poverty through their direct involvement in Renewable Energy Communities in Rome.
Thanks to the contribution of experts, the webinar addressed two topics: the strengthening of the skills of beneficiaries and participants and the financial support schemes for the implementation of RECs.
Members of the Roma Capitale project group, the interdepartmental research centre CITERA Sapienza University of Rome, the Federesco SUN4U Team, local administrators, experts in finance and Italian ESCos participated.
