The acronym CERS was created to identify a Renewable and Solidarity Energy Community, that is, an energy community that also pursues social goals in the area where it is located.
The design of a Renewable and Solidarity Energy Community is inextricably linked to the analysis of local critical issues: the initiatives of SUN4U and local partners are aimed at areas where social vulnerability is strong and where new forms of ecological transition can be experimented.
It is essential to involve institutions, organizations and individuals in the planning and implementation of these interventions, in order to ensure greater participation and a shared sense of belonging.
We work to put people at the center of CERS.
