On May 16, 2025, CorvialèCERS was inaugurated, the new Renewable and Solidarity Energy Community of the Corviale neighborhood, the result of the collaboration between the SUN4U project and the EUDECoop cooperative. The event took place in the presence of citizens, third sector entities and project partners.
CorvialèCERS was created to promote collective energy self-consumption and sustainable development of the territory, with the aim of creating different REC configurations based on the electricity grid and the needs of local communities. Thanks to SUN4U, a project was launched to install a 93kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of a sports facility in the neighborhood. The construction of the system will also be an educational opportunity for young people, thanks to a path of the Construction Site School in renewable energy.
The initiative was a concrete opportunity for a meeting open to all citizens.
