On May 27, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., a Webinar entitled “RECs and the Fight against Energy Poverty: Active Policies and Experiences of Strengthening Citizenship” will be held, organized by the Rome pilot within the project activities of Sun4All (https://sunforall.eu/it), developed by CITERA Sapienza in partnership with Roma Capitale, and in synergy with the SUN4U project (https://sun4u.it) coordinated by Federesco and aimed at creating an App for the social and technical aggregation of CERs.
In line with the European Green Deal and the Clean Energy for All package, Sun4All aims to achieve a socially just energy transition by making renewable energy accessible to people in conditions of energy poverty, in particular through their direct involvement in Renewable Energy Communities in the metropolitan area of Rome.
The webinar, thanks to the contribution of experts, will address two topics: active policies and concrete experiences of strengthening citizenship for the creation of RECs.
Members of the Roma Capitale project group, the CITERA Sapienza University of Rome interdepartmental research center, the Federesco SUN4U project team, experts in policies, experiences and territorial networks will participate.
The Webinar is free and open to all. We hope to see many of you!
