On August 17, the FER (Renewable Energy Sources) Decree was officially published. This decree marks a crucial moment for the renewable energy sector in Italy, introducing new incentive measures for the production of energy from renewable sources such as wind, solar, hydroelectric and biomass.
The FER Decree provides for the implementation of auctions and registers for access to incentives, both for new plants and for existing ones that will be renovated. This regulatory instrument is designed to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and accelerate the transition processes towards a more sustainable energy future.
