According to Article 10 of the Integrated Text on Diffused Self-Consumption (TIAD), to be included in an energy community it is essential that the PODs are positioned in the same so-called “conventional” area connected to the same primary cabin. Primary cabins are a fundamental part of the electricity grid. In fact, they have the function of transforming high voltage (HV) energy into medium voltage (MV) energy, thus making it available to citizens and their devices.
