The workshop of the JTP Programme of the European Commission for technical assistance to the regions targeted by the Just Transition Fund took place in Tullamore – MidLands, Ireland – on 19 and 20 November, in which the platform of the SUN4U project and the CER initiatives supported in the Rome area were presented. The focus was on the potential and barriers in combating Energy Poverty also in light of the 10 urban experiences of the European Sun4All project recently concluded with the Social Policies Department of Rome Capital. The Italian areas supported by the JTP Fund are in the south of Sardinia and in the Taranto area and the experts of the commission invited Federesco to present proposals to develop CER and energy transition interventions in these territories.
