The Capitoline Assembly has approved the proposed Regulation “For the provision of areas and photovoltaic solar systems in Rome Capital for solidarity renewable energy communities”.
The regulation represents a huge step forward: on the one hand, it will allow the Municipality to organize energy communities on the new solar systems that will be built in the coming years, and on the other, to engage with the many associations, cooperatives and energy communities that want to implement solidarity projects in Rome and do not have roofs.
Thanks to this tool, it will be possible to pursue the environmental and social objectives that the Administration has set itself and that now become possible after the approval of the implementing Decrees on energy communities by the Government.
